January Cove, book 3

This is the third book of the series which can be read in any order. I'm giving a trigger warning as her husband died in one of the twin towers on September 11th.
Rebecca and her son Leo leave NYC for a new life. Her son has a typical teenager attitude, and she doesn't quite know what to do with him. She opens a coffee shop in January Cove as they begin their new lives away from the memories and pity if losing her husband twelve years prior.
Jackson actually lives in Atlanta but meets Rebecca on a trip back home for Thanksgiving in January Cove. He wants to fall in love, have a family, and move back home, but he doesn't know how it would work with his real estate business in Atlanta.
Honestly, the story is good. The romance and love angle moves way too fast for reality. We're talking maybe 4 days and they are proclaiming their love to each other. I had a boyfriend once who said it after two weeks, and I was like, "Yeah...sure." 😂 Also, Leo's attitude changes too quickly too. He accepts Jackson too quickly as well. He's 14! They hold out as long as possible before giving in to their parents. I get that he wants his mother to be happy again but still...
My other issue, I read this on Hoopla. It was labeled clean and wholesome. I can't give it that label on here after reading about them having sex and what she's doing to his "shaft". Just saying, people expect those details to be out of the clean and wholesome category, that's why they chose that category.
So, it's a good quick read.
