Haley is a poor college student with no family to help her out. She lost her scholarship after her mom's death and is struggling to make her tuition payment. She works on a computer program in order to hopefully gain money through a grant but ends up also getting a job as a sound engineer's assistant on a music tour.
Jax is the hot musician that Haley has crushed on for years. But cue the awkwardness between them. He has a no dating rule for employees, and she has issues with touch. Both end up becoming friends but secretly each wants more until a secret is revealed that may keep them apart.
I gave this one X for one short scene of Jax and... himself...(clears throat)😆. But it should probably be only half an X because, well, you'll read about. Lol. Anyway, this is a slow burn type romance that hopefully continues onto the next book, Bad Girl.
