I LOVED THIS BOOK TAMMY!  Lol. You never hear that from me on here, but seriously! This book was one of only a few that put me through the emotions. And I'll tell you why...

I'm a Christian author. My books are geared toward teens and young adults, but I write about real tough issues. What I find when reading Christian Romance books is that they tend to be Hallmarky. You know the type, one issue to overcome, some doubt in God or Jesus- but they don't come too far away from the faith, and that kiss at the end that seals the deal and two weeks later they're getting married. Ugh.

Not this book. Darcy finds herself in a serious valley having to give up on a dream as a missionary when the school she was on her way to help in closes it's doors. It leaves her nearly homeless and reliant on others. She has to figure out that the people she leans on are a crutch and she finds out a lot about herself as well as her motivations. Through it all she finds a love she never would've found if she hadn't lost so much. This book deals with the disappointment of losing friends, boyfriends, jobs, hopes, and God. It also has the fresh new love, dogs, and the path that we try to avoid but the one that God pushes us toward with the disappointments and losses that ends up being greater than we ever could've imagined. Tammy does an excellent job with this one!

So get it! Read it! Love it! And bring tissues.

I wasn't too sure if I was going to like this book. I bought it nearly a year ago and let it sit to be read later. It was worth the wait. Clara is a complicated character as are her relationships except that of Mario who reminds me of my Italian grandfather. It's this friendship that made me cry. He was so gentle with her and helped her truly find what she needed to find.  Wonderful story. This one made me cry.

This is sweet story about an aspiring actress who seems to have many come against her. One thing after another as well as accusations lead Danielle to press into God. She is also looking for her brother which leads to many frustrating dead ends. This story pulls at the heart, reminds you to cling to the Lord, and to treat others how you want to be treated. The romance is also subtle and strong between the two characters.

I'd definitely recommend this one for any who enjoy strong Christian value books.

Ellie is a smart woman with a PhD who needs a different career. She moves from NYC to KY to become a writer as well as finish a project at the nearest military base. She meet Jake a quiet, strong, fighter, and Sargent in the Army in base. 

This book has good Chemistry. I like Ellie's struggles with her change in jobs, her inner battles with doubt, as well as struggling with misunderstandings with her love interest Jake and her parents. It's a slow burn but worth it.

Good book, easy flow, sweet characters, and a gentle giant you don't want to anger in a ring.

This is a pretty good series. I was skeptical at first, but it didn't disappoint. There's great action, mythical ocean creatures as well as new ones, and a possible love triangle. Lyric is half human half siren, and she gets thrown into a war between the ocean creatures called Alpha and the humans.

The beginning of the series actually took me back in history to the integration of the African American kids in Alabama when the Alpha creatures are forced into schools with the humans kids. The riots, protests, slurs, hate, and injustice really felt like a mirror to that time. I think it is reminiscant of the underlying hate of those who are different within us which is a recurring theme within these books. Unlike the old days, Lyric is dealing with a world ending crisis as more and more creatures arrive.

This girl is tough yet vulnerable, selfish yet giving, and everything we want in a main character. 

BTW, I want an Oracle glove now to play with the water. 💦 Definitely worth the read!

He also rich, famous, and Mr Handsome according to Finley. They try to keep her background a secret and both must come to terms with their mothers. Chase and Finley eventually give in to their feelings but that causes problems.

This was a cute quick read which I needed after the last series I read. This is great for young high schoolers and romantics alike. Who doesn't like the handsome, intelligent, and rich boy character?

This entire series was one big question of whether Lana would end up with one of the boys and which one which lent itself to the romance side of this thriller. Lana the MC is a nerd who is bullied, badly. She is raped, does drugs, smokes, is attacked, used by the boys, and still finds the way to forgive. She also gets around... a lot. She's extremely smart, aiming for Yale, but life and a cruel drug lord gets in the way of her happy ending. And we never really get an ending, fyi. It's left open and you are kept wondering to plot out for yourself what happens next.

I don't mind the ending since it's a thriller. If this was just labeled a romance I'd be mad. 

I'm giving this series all kinds of disclaimers due to the amount of casual sex, rape, murder, suicide attempts, lies, and drug use. There is also mention from one character about a miscarriage. Also note, 2 characters do end up gay for those into that. 

What else? All in all an exciting dramatic series full of awesome twists and turns. It has all the "will they get caughts" and "who knows what's" to keep this high on my list of good books. BTW originally I was team Blake and Lana, then Benny and Lana, then Carter and Lana, but really I just wanted Levi and Lana. 🤣 So...yeah twists and turns and a very unexpected ending.
